1. Signs Of Trance

How do you know that someone may be hypnotized? If you use stealth hypnosis, you need to know the signs that can tell you if your efforts are working. If you know the signs to look for, you can easily tell when another person is experiencing an altered state of consciousness that is probably a light or medium hypnotic trance. here are a few of the signs to look for:

Fluttering of the eyelids
Excessive swallowing
Eyelids heavy
Twitching of various body parts
Urge to giggle
Blushing in the throat area
Slowed shallow breathing
Jaw muscles relaxed
Yawning
Eyes watering
Relaxed muscles

If you see one or more of these signs in someone you are trying to hypnotize, you will know that you are having the desired effect. When enough of these signs are apparent, you can begin to make suggestions that will help to deepen the level of their trance. You can then go ahead and Make whatever hypnotic suggestions you have in mind.

2. Easy Self Hypnosis Technique

I’ve taught this to lots of people, and no one has ever told me that it doesn’t work for them. If you follow these simple directions, it will work for you.

Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Close your eyes and take several deep breaths and let them out slowly.
Feel yourself relax all of your muscles with each breath.
Now think (don’t say) the words “deeply relax” with each exhalation.
Now begin counting backward from 25 with each breath like this: breathe in – 25 – breathe out “deeply relax” – breathe in – 24 – breathe out “deeply relax” ….
Continue until you achieve a relaxing, deep hypnotic state.
Practice daily or several times daily and it will get easier and easier.

3. Making Changes With Self Hypnosis

If you want to use self hypnosis to make changes in your life, you can do the following:

Use a simple phrase such as “I will avoid eating between meals” or “Exercising makes me feel good” and say it to yourself with conviction several times before hypnotizing yourself. Do this at least once a day for at least two weeks before changing to other phrases for other changes you want to make.

4. Repeat Suggestions To Make Them Stronger

The subconscious mind will accept suggestions more effectively if the suggestions are repeated numerous times. If you are hypnotizing someone and you want to be sure that they act on your suggestion, repeat it five, ten, or even more times and those suggestions will become so strong that they may have a permanent effect on the person you are hypnotizing. The repetition may seem boring to you, but to the subconscious mind of your hypnotized subject, it will just reinforce and strengthen the suggestion you want it to accept.

5. Avoid Using “Painted Words”

“Painted words” are words that have an emotional impact on the subconscious mind and can cause your subject to resist your suggestions or even come out of their trance. Words such as pain, hurt, harm, burn, ache, pay, cost, etc. are common painted words that can wreck your attempts to help or influence your subject. Doctors and nurses are guilty of using these words every day when they give injections or draw blood. They say “You may feel a little pain.” or “This may hurt a little.”, thus virtually guaranteeing that you will experience pain. A simple suggestion such as “I’ll be touching you here, but nothing I do should bother or disturb you in any way” should partly or even totally remove the pain of the procedure.
